      On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, sophomores Orlando Soto, Ismael Arroyo and Leslie Esteves worked with the American Friends Society through a program called “Help Increase the Peace” (HIPP) to commemorate Dr. King at Northampton High School.
      “I got involved because I had a lot of fun last year and I wanted to do something this year to celebrate the day,” said Esteves.

    There is a new display in the library at Northampton High School.  “A Table Set for Forever,” a portable, multi-media installation piece is a sort of transplantable room made up of several artistic components.

     The auditorium was packed on January 20th as Northampton High School classes came to witness the inauguration of New President, Barack Obama.
     The historic event was broadcast live all throughout NHS, from classrooms to the cafeteria.
