The Key Club is holding its weekly meeting tonight at 7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria.  We are working on the white ribbon campaign to end violence against women, we continue to build a relationship with the Jackson Street after school program and will be hosting an interclub get together.  So come and bring your ideas for service projects. "One Canvas, two artists, one epic batte! Join MOST - Hamp High's own Art club - as we traverse the line between drawing and spectator sport. Super Art Fight takes two artists at one canvas, hoping to dominate the board while the clock ticks on. With a multitue of themes and genres from students and the audience to choose from, the possibilities are endless! Elves vs. Giant robots? Unicorns vs. Cthulhu? Anything can happen! The Super Art Fight will be this Friday from 7 to 9 in the Little Theater, admission will be $5 and there will be a bakesale!"

Students who are being picked up in the loop need to let their "rides" know that if they come into the bus loop area, they cannot pass special ed vans or busses who are loading and/or unloading students.  They must stop for all busses/vans that flash their lights, and/or who put out a STOP sign.  This is a safety concern for all of our students and families. Please be a courteous driver.

Ms. Brown and Ms. Ryan's Writing students from the fall semester should pick up writing folders and research papers.s. 

If you were a student in Ms. Strauss' classes in the fall semester and have not returned books or poetry packets or the Native American packet, please bring them to her classroom immediately.

The performance includes: The Whole Children Choir; a choir comprised of people with and without special needs AND Improv Theater troupes Funktionlist and The Unusuals, as well as talent acts from Best Buddies members.

Tickets are only $5 and all proceeds go to helping these two wonderful programs! Please come to support us!

This is open to only NHS students. For more information get a copy of the criteria/rules in the office.

Attention all student drivers, if you have paid for a parking spot and someone has parked there, you must park in the stadium lot.  You should then come to the office with the license number of the car parked in your spot.  At that time we will give you a pass to class if you need one.  Do not just park in someone else’s spot.

Integrity Contest

For the month of February students at Northampton High School along with Kollmorgen, Abba Motors and Pioneer Valley Landscaping are sponsoring an Integrity contest. We are asking NHS students to submit an essay, poem or piece of art that has a clear and positive message about integrity. The objective of this contest is to advocate the importance of integrity in our schools and society. The 1st place prize is $400, 2nd place prize is $200 and 3rd place prize is $100. Entries will be judged by a panel of student peers, faculty and local business members.

Tags and stickers will be checked frequently.

Meet Tillie, a “keeper of rabbits, dreamer of atoms, true believer in life, hope, and the effect of gamma rays on man-in-the-moon marigolds.” This play reminds us that “something beautiful and full of promise can emerge from even the most barren, afflicted soil.”  Join us in the high school auditorium, January 26-28 (Thursday through Saturday) at 7:00 pm.  Tickets will be only $5.
